Lower Bodiniel Farm

The site of our first project, close to Bodmin, Cornwall, is a 5 MW solar field on 14 hectares of low grade agricultural land. The majority of the site benefits from a plateau with part on a south facing slope.
The generator comprises over 22,000 solar modules, and is sufficient to power over 1,250 houses, or some 20% of Bodmin.
This significant investment not only creates jobs in the locality, it provides energy security for companies and other employers in Bodmin by helping to prevent electrical brown-outs or power cuts in the future.
The project was completed in early 2012.
